TRUTH Chocolate Bar Protein Mug Cake

Sweet tooth have you craving chocolate? Dont worry - TRUTH chocolate bar protein

mug cake to the rescue for serious late night cravings.


For many of us, late night eating is a down. Although many of us manage to eat relatively healthy all day and meal prep to get through our busy lives, discipline can sometimes set with the sun. Instead of reaching for convenient and satisfying snacks that comfort you as you relax from a long day, I have tried to versions of this quick, easy and sweet tooth satisfying snack that is filled with protein and will actually help your muscles recover as you sleep. This recipe (both versions) only take a few minutes to prepare, so if you feel yourself reaching for the wrong snack, give this a try and it will be ready almost immediately.


Dont forget - many of the ingredients are interchangeable (hence two versions of the recipe), so feel free to personalize this with your favorite add-ins like nut butter, berries, or anything else you enjoy.


- 1/2 banana, mashed
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- 1 scoop of TRUTH chocolate bar protein powder
- 1 tsp raw cacao powder
- 1 tsp stevia (optional)


Mix all the wet ingredients and dry ingredients separately.

Slowly add the dry to the wet in a mug, mixing well.

Microwave for 1:00-1:30 or until your cake is firm.

Top with fruits and dairy-free ice cream.


One other version of this recipe I tried:




-      1 scoop TRUTH Chocolate Bar protein powder

-      2 tablespoons cocoa powder

-      2 tablespoons coconut flour


-      1/4 teaspoon baking powder


-      1 organic egg


-      1/2 cup almond milk


-      3 tablespoons stevia sweetened chocolate chips






In a small microwave safe bowl combine protein powder, cocoa powder, coconut flour and baking powder. In a separate bowl whisk together egg and almond milk. Mix in the wet mixture with the dry ingredients. Top with chocolate chips.
